Founder of nBo Baseball

My name is Joe Gillespie and I'm the founder and creator of nBo baseball.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I saw my first Brewer game in 1973 when I was 9. I've been a Brewer fan ever since. In 1974 I started collecting baseball cards, many of which I still have today. I went to see dozens of Brewer games a year at County Stadium. In April 1986 I went to see the Brewers and brought some of my baseball cards to see if I could get them signed. That started my autograph collection. I hung out at County Stadium getting autographs of the Brewers and other teams that came to town from 1986 to 1988.

These days, I live in Nevada on the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Now I get most of my autographs through the mail. I do get items signed when I'm lucky enough to go to a Major League game. I go to San Francisco a couple of times a year to see the Giants. I've gone back to Milwaukee the last two years to see the Brewers. In 1999 I had over 15 players sign a Brewer shirt for me. In 2000, I made my first trip to Cooperstown.

In 2004 my wife Cathy and I took out then 18 month old son Cooper to Miller Park in Milwaukee to see his first Brewer game. It was a trip we all loved!
The nBo Baseball sight is my way to give something back to the sport and hobby I love. Also I'm sharing some of my experiences with the other Major League baseball fans out there. Any question you may have, just email me. I try to answer everyone.
