Combo Cards
I've been collecting combo cards (Cards signed by two or more players) for some time.Currently I have over 112 different. Here are three, (Warren Spahn - Lew Burdette, Ralph Kiner - Duke Snider and Kevin Bass - Ed Romero - Ned Yost), from my collection. Some (Like Ralph Kiner - Duke Snider) I have bought from reputable sellers off EBay or Autograph Expert Dave Miedema of Chicago. But most (Like Warren Spahn - Lew Burdette, Tom Pacorek - Glenn Abbot, Micky Rivers - Amos Otis and Kevin Bass - Ed Romero - Ned Yost), I have gotten by sending to each player through the mail. Some (Like the Joe Carter - Cory Snyder) I have gotten in person. Whether in my collecting days back in Milwaukee during the late 80's or when we travel to games now.
Sending combo card through the mail is even funner than just collecting through the mail. As of now I have several (Including a Luis Tiant - Don Gullett card that I still need Mrt. Gullett to sign), that I'm trying to get a second player's autograph on. I sometime use team cards from the 70's and 80's to get several players from the same team to sign. On a Royals Team Card I have Whitey Herzog, Dennis Leonard and Amos Otis signed. I just sent that one out to Paul Splittorff.
