Personal note from former Dodger, Norm Larker (Late 1950's)
The 1959 World Series was something I will never forget. I dreamt about it for many years, how it would feel playing in front of huge crowds and national TV. I played first base all thru my pro career and I ended up starting 6 games in the outfield. I won a beautiful World Series ring that I cherish very much. It's a great conversation piece when I wear it.
