Miller Park 2001
Miller Park is my favorite Baseball Stadium.

When Cathy and I make our annual trip to Milwaukee each year, we stay at a small hotel on National Avenue. So on game days, we walk to and from the stadium. In our August of 2001 trip we took the walk through the grounds of the VA Hospital to see Miller Park for the first time.
When we first saw Miller Park our thoughts were of how massive it is compared to the late Milwaukee County Stadium. Then as we walked a few more yards towards the stadium I could see it, the Robin Yount statue. This is something that I'd been waiting to see since Miller Park opened in April 2001.
Cathy and I made sure that we filmed our adventure and took lots of pictures. You have to understand that when I meet Cathy she wasn't a Milwaukee Brewer fan yet, or even a baseball fan. So I had to tell her about the Legendary Robin Yount. Seeing his monument helped her understand more about the Greatest Brewer ever.
Then we saw the Milwaukee Walk of Fame and we took more pictures. I want to try and come back to Milwaukee each year after the new Walk of Fame members are added. That way it'll be a new experience each time.
We walked around the stadium just so we could take it all in. My favorite part was seeing the inside of Miller Park for the time through the glass windows behind center field. I could even see where our seats would be for each of the three games we were there for.

Once inside the stadium, the first thing I did was to go to our seats so I could see how our view would be. It was Awesome! I decided to sit and take in as much as I could of the Brewers new home while Cathy walked around. Some of the visual highlights are the Massive New scoreboard, the retired Brewer Jersey Numbers and of course Bernie Brewer's Slide.
Let me tell you one thing, when you're six foot six inched tall like I am, leg room means alot. Each place that we sat I had my leg room.
Later, after Cathy came back, we took a walk to Autograph Alley. It took awhile but Cathy eventually found the Baseball that we had signed last year. This is something that that we'll be able to show our future children.
Before the game started I was happy to see the great Milwaukee Brave Shortstop Johnny Logan walking around talking to some of the people in the crowd.
After each game we watched as the retractable roof was closed. This was something Cathy liked very much. After one game she filmed it closing.
These are just some of the reasons why Miller Park in Milwaukee Wisconsin is my favorite Baseball Stadium.
