Pac Bell

My wife and I went to Pac Bell twice this year. On April 29th I went for Montreal Expo autographs. I stood by the right side of the third base dugout before the game. Three Expos signed for me: Orlando Cabrera, Chris Widger and Grame Lloyd. There weren't many other autograph seekers there. I would later find out from one of the autograph collectors that there is more of a crowd for the big name teams, such as the Braves, Cardinals and Reds.

I was very happy to get all three of the autographs that I got. I was especially happy to get Grame Lloyd to sign my Brewer cap. He is one of the former Brewers out there that I didn't have a signature of yet.

On August 8th my wife and I went back to Pac Bell to see the Milwaukee Brewers. We got in as soon as the gates opened and ran for the Brewers dugout. The crowd of autograph seekers was about the same size as when we were there in April.

The Brewers were taking batting practice, and Jeromy Burnitz was walking to the dugout. I screamed "Mr. Burnitz" and held up my baseball for him to see. He motioned that he'd be right back. When I had been in Milwaukee last year, I'd heard that he is a tough signer, so this surprised me. Mr. Burnitz came back and signed for everyone there who asked him. In fact, he was so good about it, that he not only signed my baseball, but he signed the Brewer cap I had on as well. It's the same cap that Grame Lloyd had signed in April.

I also got autographs from Marquis Grissom and Charlie Hayes. I would say both of my trips to Pac Bell turned out great!
