New Brewer Order
It's been almost two years since nBo Baseball first appeared on the Internet. Since that time once in a while someone asks me "What do the letters nBo stand for?"
New Brewer Order, that's what the nBo in nBo Baseball means. Let me tell you why.
When I first decided to make a web site it was going to be a place for the positive thinking Milwaukee Brewer fans across the country. But being on the Internet, with all the people who see a web site, I needed to have a broader market than just Brewer fans. That's when I decided to make it a baseball autograph site that tells positive stories about the Brewers past and present. Also, I thought that a good way to get people to see the site would be to do a monthly baseball autograph giveaway using items from my own collection. (Since the first contest, players have signed plenty of items specifically for nBo Baseball giveaways)
Well, I didn't want to offend anyone by calling my web site the New Brewer Order so I had to change the name. At the same time I wanted to keep my connection to my favorite team the Milwaukee Brewers. So I kept the initials nBo and added the word Baseball.
Since nBo Baseball debuted it has grown to include all kinds of fun new stuff. Pages like "Player Interactions", "Four Questions", "Milwaukee Baseball Legends" and the rest should have something for everyone. In the coming year there will be some bigger contests, some more "Private Signings" and other surprises that everyone will enjoy.
So now you know that the nBo in nBo Baseball stands for the New Brewer Order.
